Developing the real & the imaginary.
The Practice
Land & Story works in two materials at once — the ground beneath us, and the stories we set upon it.
The real, and the imaginary, shaped by the same hands.
The Real · Development
Shaping real places with patience and intent — developing the ground, drawing the master plan, and telling the story that makes a place worth belonging to.
The Imaginary · Film
Ordinary characters in extraordinary circumstances — built on the page and the screen. Features, television, and commercials, with new work written as a member of the WGA.
The Founders
Andrew and Stephanie Disney are the founders of Land & Story — husband and wife, each with a creative practice of their own. What they share is a name, a marriage, and an instinct for transforming space: the real, and the imagined.

Selected Work

The original fair at the heart of Round Top — the largest antiques market in North America.
A residential development built on a simple idea — that the home itself is an artful expression.
A coworking space for small-business owners — built on a belief that growth is moving outward, to the bedroom communities that need a place to work close to home.
Andrew’s film & television development company with writing partner Bradley Jackson — developing original features and series.
The epic sports movie for guys who don’t deserve one. Official Selection, Tribeca 2014; released by Orion Pictures; a New York Times Critic’s Pick.
A sci-fi comedy series — grad students use big science for petty purposes and accidentally make a black hole. Co-created with Bradley Jackson for Rooster Teeth; premiered on El Rey.
Direction for the Dallas Cowboys, 7-Eleven, the Texas Rangers, and more.
